T. M. Spooner grew up in northern Illinois, a stone’s throw from the
Wisconsin border. His stories are strongly connected to place and often reflect
the unique experiences of the Midwest. Spooner’s most recent short fiction has
appeared in The Dolomite Review, Flying Island Journal as the recipient of the short fiction prize, and Latin American Literary Review. Spooner holds an
